Two very different meanings of "combining photos"

When people search for combining photos with AI, they usually mean one of two things:

• Merging or editing images — blending two pictures, swapping a background, or compositing elements into one frame. Plenty of photo editors do this; the output is a remix of pixels you already have.
• Learning from many photos to create new ones — feeding an AI a set of photos of the same person so it understands what they look like, then generating brand-new photos of that person that never existed. This is what CVPIC does, and it is far more powerful.

The first approach is limited by your source photos: if you have never had a great studio portrait taken, no amount of merging will produce one. The second approach removes that ceiling — once an AI model knows your face, it can render you in a studio, on a beach in Santorini, or in a boardroom for a CEO headshot, all without a camera.

How CVPIC combines your selfies into one AI model

CVPIC's core technology is often called fine-tuning: a large image-generation model that already understands photography, lighting and human anatomy is specialised on one extra subject — you. Here is the pipeline:

1. You upload ~10-15 selfies. Different angles, lighting conditions and expressions. Each photo contributes a slightly different view of your facial structure.
2. The AI extracts what is consistent. Across all your photos, the training process identifies the features that stay the same — bone structure, eye shape, skin tone, hairline — and separates them from what varies, like lighting or background.
3. One personal model is created. After roughly 20-30 minutes of training, the result is a single AI model that can render you, recognisably, in situations that were never photographed.
4. Packs steer the output. Each photo pack is a curated set of prompts — outfits, backdrops, camera styles — applied to your model, from Corporate Headshots to Travel Photos.

This is why multiple photos matter: a single selfie shows one angle in one light. Ten varied selfies let the model triangulate your actual appearance, which is what keeps generated photos looking like you rather than a lookalike.

Getting the best results from your photo set

• Vary the conditions. Mix indoor and outdoor shots, different times of day, and different distances from the camera.
• Keep your face clear. No sunglasses, no heavy filters, no hands covering your face, and only one person per photo.
• Stay recent. Use photos from the last year or two so the model learns how you look now.
• Prefer sharp over flattering. A crisp, honest photo teaches the model more than a blurred, beautified one — the flattering part is the generator's job.

What combining photos with AI can't (yet) do well
